Morgan's Great Raid study
John Hunt Morgan's 'Great Raid' needs a good history. I'll never understand the continued admiration for the Horwitz book, but maybe it can be put to rest with this new study, David Mowery's Morgan's Great Raid: The Remarkable Expedition from Kentucky to Ohio
(The History Pr, Feb '13). The author bio (see the link) leads one to believe he just might be the right man for the job.
