2. No Freedom Shrieker: The Civil War Letters of Union Soldier Charles Biddlecom
edited by Katherine Aldridge (Paramount Market Pub, 2011).Biddlecom was a soldier in the 147th New York and this book is an edited collection of more than 100 of his letters home covering his experiences of the Overland and Petersburg campaigns.
