Another Shiloh book by Timothy Smith

A reader recently sent me this link, which mentions that prolific Shiloh scholar Timothy Smith has entered into a contract with University Press of Kansas for another Shiloh volume.  Hopefully, now that Peter Cozzens has abandoned his own effort, this will be a new exhaustive treatment that addresses the deficiencies of prior efforts. With his scale of output (seems like a book a year or more), Smith must be the most efficient Civil War researcher and writer working today.

  1. Hello Drew

This is good news. I was looking forward to Cozzens book on Shiloh. I'm also looking forward to Tim Smith's Corinth study. If the Corinth and Shiloh books are anything like his Champion Hill, then we have something to look forward to.
